Chief Executive Officer
Jon has delivered process and technology solutions to regulated industries for the last 25 years. He is focused on helping business owners in the Shooting Sports Industry achieve higher levels of growth, profitability and compliance by implementing best-in-class POS and ERP software applications.
His clients and software customers rely on him for guidance when implementing omni-channel retail strategies, range management solutions and ATF compliance. Jon is CEO of the Retail Technology Group and Orchid Advisors.
Retail POS Software Design
Matt has worked in retail for the past 20 years, working with companies such as Scheels All Sports, 84 Lumber Company, Advantage Sales and Marketing (GlaxoSmithKline & Del Monte Foods) and H&R Block. He started working for Retail Technology Group eight years ago in Technical Support and Training, and now manages the design of RTG’s AXIS and V6 programs. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Business from Saint Cloud State University, along with an Associate of Applied Science degree in IT and Network Administration from Rasmussen College. Matt has always loved the outdoors and became an Eagle Scout at 15 years old. When not spending time with his wife and three girls, he can be found hunting and fishing in the outdoors of Minnesota.
Retail POS Software Experience
Julie joined the Retail Technology Group in May, 2011 and has been serving customers in various capacities for over 25 years; working the front line with customers in sales, service and operational teams. She is a Disney Institute: Quality Customer Service graduate; with ears to prove it; certified in Green Belt Six Sigma methodology and served on the National ACH Association Rules Enforcement Panel for 4 years. An inaugural program team leader, she implemented Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Customer Effort Methodologies across a large financial services organization. When Julie is not assisting retailers, she can be seen carting her two children around town to school and sporting events; including trap competitions and target archery events.
I have been with RTG & AXIS Retail Point Of Sale for almost 3 years, the inventory management part is great; the assistance we get from the RTG staff is always above and beyond. This is a must-have for any indoor range and firearms retailer.

Eric is a Network Admin graduate turned software specialist, passionate about helping retailers transform their business.
As the Training and Implementation Manager here at RTG, he is responsible for ensuring retailers always have a successful implementation.
He has worked his way through the ranks from a Support Technician to managing our implementation team which gives him years of experience in a wide array of areas within the company and the firearms industry.
Retail Firearm / Gun Store Advisory Services
Travis started working in the firearms industry behind the gun counter in retail in 1994, in Columbus, Ohio. Since that time he has held management and leadership roles in single location FFLs, as well as leading compliance and operations for a multi-unit retailer, Cabela’s, with over 50 locations nationwide. Travis has been instrumental in guiding hundreds of shooting sports retailers in his prior role as a leader at Lipsey’s distribution center. In his current role, he has served the largest national chains as well as the smallest individual family owned and operated FFLs.
Retail Software Sales
Andy has been with Retail Technology Group since 2007, and has more than 20 years of overall experience in the retail and customer service industries. He has filled various roles throughout his tenure at RTG, starting in technical support, moving into implementation and training, and eventually, into sales where he currently serves as RTG Sales Manager.
Andy’s extensive implementation and training experience of POS and Retail Management Software allows for a consultative approach to identifying retailer needs throughout the sales process, ensuring the RTG solutions are meeting their objectives.
